Preferred operator chosen for Brinton Park café

Residents and visitors to Brinton Park can look forward to an exciting new chapter for the Pavilion in the Park, as Wyre Forest District Council has identified Little Al's Kitchen as its preferred operator for the new café.

The new café is set to become a welcoming destination at the heart of Brinton Park, offering a place for families, friends, walkers, park users and community groups to meet, relax and enjoy refreshments while making the most of one of Kidderminster's most loved green spaces. 

Little Al’s Kitchen has been selected as the Council’s preferred operator following a thorough evaluation process. The Worcestershire-based business is known for creating vibrant community spaces, championing locally sourced produce and delivering high-quality food and drink.

The Council received strong interest from potential operators, reflecting the excitement surrounding the Pavilion in the Park and the wider investment being made in Brinton Park.

Councillor David Ross, Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Finance and Capital Portfolio at Wyre Forest District Council, said:

“We are delighted to be moving forward with Little Al's Kitchen as our preferred operator for the new café at Brinton Park.

From the outset, we wanted this café to be much more than somewhere to grab a coffee. We were looking for a partner that shared our vision of creating a welcoming, inclusive space that brings people together and enhances everything Brinton Park has to offer.

Little Al's Kitchen impressed us with its strong community focus, commitment to quality and experience of creating thriving café environments. We believe they will be an excellent fit for the park and the local community.

The Pavilion in the Park is a significant investment in Brinton Park's future, and we're excited about the role the café can play in making the park an even more attractive destination for residents and visitors alike.”

The Council is now working with Little Al's Kitchen to finalise contractual arrangements and complete the necessary legal processes. Further announcements, including opening plans, will be made once these arrangements have been completed.
